I did same but I found the problem in starting server, it gives me error message 'ImportError: No module named lxml', eventhough python-lxml module is already installed.
and also all dependency module realted to server is installed.

It seems like the required dependencies are not met in your Ubuntu machine.

Try running Open ERP in terminal (not eclipse) without debug.

The required dependency for lxml can be resolved by the following command:

sudo apt-get install python-lxml

hi,
i am new for openerp and python and i am study all the terminology for both and i am installing openerp in the windows operating system. and i eread that we can degub the openerp-server.py in ubantu using eclips and pydev so i install both in my pc and i get openerpserver code from linux. now when i debug the openerp-server.py file they give me error like

import netsvc,
no module named lxml

sp please give me the all the steps for how to debug openerp-server.py file in windows system. i search last two days but i only found for ubantu but not for windows. so please give me the steps for that.
